We open with La Traviata, Verdi’s timeless masterpiece of love, sacrifice, and social judgment. Follow Violetta, a glamorous courtesan who gives up everything for love, in a story that blends sweeping melodies with emotional depth. Hailed as one of the greatest operas ever written, La Traviata continues to move audiences around the world with its beauty and humanity.

This holiday season, Amahl and the Night Visitors returns—a heartwarming, one-act opera perfect for all ages. Menotti’s beloved story of a young boy, his mother, and three mysterious visitors reminds us of the power of hope, kindness, and the magic of the unexpected.

Celebrate the golden age of opera with A Tribute to the Three Tenors, a thrilling concert event honoring the legendary voices of Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo, and José Carreras. Featuring a powerful lineup of soaring arias, heartfelt ballads, and beloved ensemble pieces, this concert will move and inspire the entire audience. This one-night-only event is an evening not to be missed! 

The season closes with Il Tabarro, Puccini’s gripping one-act masterpiece of passion and betrayal. With its brooding atmosphere and sweeping score, Il Tabarro delivers a raw emotional punch. Presented in collaboration with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra, this production showcases Puccini’s lush orchestration and dramatic power—and marks the final chapter of FM Opera’s journey through Il Trittico, following Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi nearly a decade ago. The second half of the evening will feature a collection of beloved operatic works—show stoppers that celebrate the power and beauty of the art form.
